Activities
Co-Curricular activities at Loyola Catholic School help students discover their unique gifts and talents. Loyola Catholic School offers a quality program of fine arts and athletics, integrated with Christian values and respect, which develop mental and physical skills in harmony with the maturation level of the student.
Personal growth takes place as a student’s needs are identified, special attention given to enhance their knowledge and skills, and encouragement and positive reinforcement given.
THE POWER OF THE GAME (OR ACTIVITY) GOES WELL BEYOND THE SCORE!
We help our students develop an understanding and appreciation for working together to achieve a common goal. Working together for a collective purpose is a life skill, one we encourage at LCS. Because we believe every student is a gift, we help our students learn to recognize the talents and skills of all participants and share equally in a team’s accomplishments.
Loyola Catholic School community believes in the educational value of co-curricular activities. Many of life’s valuable lessons are learned during play, and our various events are no exception! That co-curricular activities are a vital component of a well-rounded education is uncontested. Our belief is that we strive to demonstrate and model good sportsmanship — citizenship — not only on the playing field, stage or other competitive event, but also in the classroom and everyday life.
